Digital & Visual Initiatives

Forest Park is for everyone. That's why we try to make it as easy as possible for people to interact with the Park even when they can't visit in person.

We launched ForestParkMap.org, our device-agnostic web app, in 2015. We ended 2017 by giving the site a much-needed refresh. The color scheme is more in line with our overall brand aesthetic, the layout is now easier to navigate and, most importantly, it now provides easier access to more robust information to help make your visit to Forest Park even better.

New Park Photo Book

New Park Photo Book

In November, our team was proud to publish Forest Park: Snapshots of a St. Louis Gem, our first photo book. The square-format publication nods to Instagram, the most popular social media channel for sharing Forest Park beauty. The book features 60 images taken by our team, with sites ranging from iconic locations like the World’s Fair Pavilion and Pagoda Circle to more hidden natural areas like Round Lake Vista and Deer Lake Savanna. A map in the final pages helps readers locate where each photo was taken. Need another reason to make a purchase? 100% of proceeds support Forest Park!
